It’s summer and who doesn’t want to eat a Lobster roll and a few inventive, fresh tacos? Visit the newest collaboration, Tuesday nights and Sundays at local favorite GB Lobster at 518 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Cravable tacos with ingredients such as jackfruit and tamarind mole, fried cremini mushrooms with cashew coconut crema and dragonfruit salsa are all available thanks to creatives Andy Sutphen and GB Lobster owner, Anthony Scarpulla. The venture is called Neon Taco and is currently a pop-up, but I would look for more permanent roots in the near future. You should definitely try these bright, exotic flavors, Scout guarantees your taste buds will thrive. And if you need more reasons to stop by, here are 6 things you shouldn’t miss.

1. The first thing you should do is order a Dragonfruit Mojito or a Tamarind Margarita. It’s not just that the drink is amazing but you’ll be reminded of your drink all day as you sport the dope temporary tattoo that is clipped to your cocktail.
2. Healthy and fresh food is a priority at Neon Taco and “sugar” is a 5 letter word that is not used in it’s processed form. Instead the sweetness comes from natural ingredients and less processed alternatives.

3.Fresh and exotic ingredients from around the world are used to ensure the unique taste and colorful presentation of each and every menu item.
4.Don’t sleep on the Plantain Fries with Banana Ketchup. It is a Scout favorite and the duo was perfecting the formula while we were there…nailed it bro!

Half-Eaten Plantain Fries-so good we couldn’t wait

5.If you are into healthy but still into drinking then the Coconut Rum Old Fashioned made with Coconut Sugar is not to be missed.
6.Keep up with both establishments on IG (the social media platform that actually led to this collaboration) on @gblobster and @neon.taco as the high energy vibe of these two is bound to produce more great things daily.
