Things are ramping back up and who isn’t ready to have a little socially distanced safe fun with our mask on! Here are a few events coming up in the next couple of months that Scout doesn’t want you to miss. Some require tickets or registration and some just a place holder on your calendar.  If it sounds like fun, then book your spot and start counting down the days. Don’t miss out…look to Scout!

Free Admission Days at Fort Pulaski on August 25th from 9am-5pm

Several days throughout the year have been designated as fee free days at your national parks including Fort Pulaski National Monument. On these days entrance fees will not be charged.

Yoga + Bubbles hosted by The Grey on August 29th from 10am-11:30am

The Grey is hosting Yoga + Bubbles. Join them for a Summer Saturday morning good time at The Grey restaurant with Kelley Boyd of Savannah Yoga Center for an outdoor all levels yoga class in the Yard to support the Edna Lewis Foundation. Following the yoga class enjoy community and a well deserved glass of Prosecco, compliments of The Grey! Bring a Yoga mat, full water bottle and a towel. Sign up here.

Two Tides Slushfest August 29th from 12pm to 8pm

Saturday, August 29th. 12 beer slushies including 10 guest flavors concocted by the finest slush artisans we know. Flavors, foods, safety precautions, and other happenings will be announced soon.

This event has limited seating and requires a reservation at 912-355-5956 . $30 gives you 4 cocktails plus 2 spirit tastings and hors d’ouevres.

Family Farm Day September 5th from 11am to 1pm hosted by Triple J Stables and Petting Zoo

Come out and meet the new miniature foal, Misty and all her friends! Horse rides, bounce house, corn box, petting zoo and face painting. $10 per person ages walking and up. You must sign up prior to arrival at triplejstablesponyparties@yahoo.com. You will receive a response with information on how to sign up.

Eden Supper Club Pop-Up Fall Equinox on September 22nd

Chef Jared Jackson is bringing you the Fall Equinox Pop-Up Supper Club on September 22nd. Chef Jackson informed Scout that tickets and details would be available this weekend on his Eden Supper Club website. The ticket you purchase will allow you to attend a dinner in a secret location, with a surprise menu  and an exclusive one night only dining experience. What you can be assured of is an intimate, thoughtful dinner that brings together the community and gives you a chance to connect with the chef and be aware of exactly which farmer has provided the food you are enjoying. What a great way to welcome fall! Tickets are limited so make sure you check out the website this weekend to secure your seat at the table!

The Humane Society for Greater Savannah Purr-fect Swing Golf Tournament at Bacon Park Golf Course on October 9th

Join them on Friday, October 9th 2020 from 8:00am to 3:00pm for the Humane Society for Greater Savannah’s Purr-fect Swing Golf Tournament at Bacon Park Golf Course. Registration fees are $75/person or $300/team and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, t-shirt and prizes for 1st and 2nd place teams, longest drive, closest to pin, 50/50 raffle and more. Proceeds from the Tournament will support the Humane Society’s Medical Fund – this fund covers the cost of medications and vaccines for the 2,400 animals each year that find new homes through the Humane Society for Greater Savannah.
