Find a fun way to cool down by heading to the Starland District. Stop by Starland Strange and snag some confetti cake ice cream, Superbloom can hook you up with an iced Mint Matcha Chip Latte (tastes like Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream without all the sugar and dairy and with all the health benefits of matcha and cacao), if you are having a real meltdown then Two Tides offers beer slushies to enjoy on-site or to go.

If you need to get in touch with nature, take a short drive to Tom Triplett Park Disc Golf Course and bring your “A” game. It will be easier if you buy a weighted frisbee but everything else is free at the park so it is still a good deal for a day of adventure. Stop by Ronnie’s Restaurant on Dean Forest Road before hand to grab a picnic of burgers, fries and an old fashioned chocolate milkshake through the drive-thru. There are plenty of shelters on site, next to the water, to enjoy your burgers before competition.

Stop by The Black Rabbit for their popular Van Gogh roasted chicken sandwich and some German potato salad then head to Forsyth Park and enjoy a nice shade tree and some leisurely reading. If you want to check out local authors Brenna and T.C. Michaels latest Hidden History of Savannah. Also, do this on a Sunday and partake in CQ Forsyth Park’s free live music at 3 pm. Grab a cocktail from inside or a coffee from their walk up window and finish the day right.
