This year may have your holiday looking a little different with less driving hours and a little more at home adventure. That’s why Mansion on Forsyth Park Chef, Jason Winn, has put together a Children’s Holiday Brunch Series to make your season even more magical. The fun starts here but doesn’t end here, every child will learn some serious skills to be able to host a lavish holiday brunch for your family.

The Children’s Holiday Brunch Series is offering classes on December 6th, 13th and 20th. This is a fun children’s hands on cooking class held in the 700 Kitchen Cooking School inside Mansion on Forsyth Park, which is beautifully decorated for the holidays. The menu includes holiday themed pancakes, potato latkes, berry parfaits, “cheesy” eggs, bacon and chicken sausage. The holiday pancake “art” is drawn into various holiday themes such as Christmas trees, Santa, stockings, menorahs and more. Chef Jason learned as a child to draw on pancakes and still holds his love for it today which is why he is passing the tradition onto Savannah children.

The cost is $75 which includes attendance for 2 (1 parent/1 child). It also includes a framed photo, the recipes, non-alcoholic beverages and a complimentary mimosa (for parent). The entire menu is nut free and they can make accommodations for any food allergies or dietary restrictions.  For safety considerations, seating is limited with socially distanced seating and preparation areas. PPE will be provided.  Tickets can be purchased online here.

The holidays are for making memories and why not start a pancake “art” tradition while everyone has the time for a hot, sit down breakfast with the ones they love.
