What got you interested in music?

My family is into music and we grew up around it in church. Gospel background then as I grew up I fell in love with the sounds of R&B and soul along with hip hop. I found out one day I could sing so I just spent years working on my craft.

If by chance, someone isn’t familiar with Jarrod White what is the song you would like them too listen to and why?

I would say listen to my new song “Eyes” and the two new songs I’m releasing this year. These songs describe the way I want to experience love, and how I’m learning to deal with loss and represent how I’d like to be heard. At the end of the day I hope people feel my music the way I do.

What are some of the ways people can experience your music?

Spotify and live shows…my songs are on all streaming platforms from Spotify to Tidal. I also play originals and covers when I’m performing live. I use Instagram to promote what I’m doing. @Whitejarrod is my handle, so give me a follow to stay updated.

The things that makes you feel most accomplished?

I have some of the greatest friends/family in the world and God blessed me with a gift and a passion to pursue it.

What’s next for Jarrod White?

I’ll be releasing more new songs this year and plan to regularly release music from here on out. I’ll continue to play more live gigs and just try to stay on the come up.

What do you love about Savannah?

The weather and the food along with a good mix of southern culture.

If you had one night to spend in Savannah what would Jarrod White do?

I would probably chill with the homies, grab chicken wings from 520 Wings, Renowned food truck or PS Tavern. Hit Tybee for some shrimp and crab legs and then kick it on the beach with good company.
