What does sustainable swimwear mean?

For Sayler Made, sustainable swimwear means a quality fabric made from recycled plastics. We use ECONYL which is made from recycled fishnets and Repreve which is made from recycled plastic water bottles. Our ethical factory pays each worker 3x the living wage in Bali, an extra month’s salary and an annual profit share. They also have access to healthcare and continuing education classes if they would like to take them. Most of our sewers are women supporting their families.

What sets Sayler Made suits apart?

I think a couple things sets Sayler Made apart. One is the quality of our suits. Women’s suit’s are seamless and have a 4 way stretch that feels and flatters like your favorite pair of yoga pants. Another thing is our prints. Creating new color stories and designing new prints are my favorite parts of the design process.

What is your favorite suit in your collection at this time and why?

My current favorite suit is the Amelia Wyld one piece. I love the low back and can’t wait to wear it with a tan this summer.

What does the future hold for Sayler Made?

We’re hoping to expand our product range more and more each season. We weren’t expecting men’s swim to do as well as it has, so expanding prints in men’s trunks is the first step. We’re currently developing beach bags and activewear as well.

How would someone go about purchasing from your collection? is the best place to find us! We also love a pop up. We keep our Instagram updated with any upcoming events. Due to Covid, we’ve also been offering at home try on appointments. Reach out to us thru email or Instagram DM if that is something you would like to look into!

Where is the next place you hope to travel to and be able to show off one of your suits?

I’m dying to go to Bali and visit our manufacturer. Hopefully in 2022 !

What do you love about Savannah?

I love how close to the water Savannah is. It’s so much fun to live downtown and still have access to the water and beach.

If you only had one night to spend in Savannah…what would you do?

If I had one night in Savannah, I would grab a tea from Yaupon Teahouse. Their canned teas are so good! Walk down Broughton and stop into The Edition Shop to see what new, pretty things they have. Then I would meet friends for a drink and a snack at Savoy Society. For dinner, head over to Starland Yard to eat and listen to some live music.
