DWSS Fundraiser” 5Rhythms Dance at Soul Waves Healing Arts Community Studio, March 25th-6:00pm

A moving meditation. A path to higher vibration. A dance only you can do. Lead by Dana Danielson. Tickets are $30 with proceeds benefitting Savannah CASA which provides advocacy for children experiencing foster care.

 

Savannah Boat Show, March 25th-March 27th-(times vary)

The Savannah Boat Show is located on Hutchinson Island, Georgia, overlooking the Savannah River and on the South Carolina border. Tickets needed.

 

Bellwether House Tito’s Experience Dinner, March 25th-8:30pm-10:30pm

Join Bellwether House for an exciting evening of mingling, cocktails and small bites curated by Chef Ryan Whyte-Buck in collaboration with Tito’s Vodka. Tybee City Wide Yard Sale, March 26th-8:00am

The Tybee City Wide Yard Sale will take place on Saturday March 26, 2022 beginning at 8am. Maps will be handed out at Fish Art Gallery.

Sunset Yoga and Meditation on the Beach – A CASA fundraiser, March 26th-7:00pm

Join them for a sunset yoga and meditation class on March 26th at 7:00 PM! Bring a large beach towel or tapestry, some water and wear your sunglasses or a hat. Kid friendly and beginner friendly! Yoga at Stump with @kiesha_evolving, March 26th-6:30pm-8:00pm

Join them for a 60 minute mindful flow where they will focus on breath linked with movement surrounded by natural air purifiers. This workshop is from 6:30pm to 8pm and the cost is $18. There will be time to purchase a plant or 2 for yourself along with complimentary refreshments after class. Class size is limited to 12 to keep within COVID safety precautions. All that is needed is a mat and an open mind.

 

The DeSoto Street Market, March 26th-11:00am-5:00pm

Save the date! The De Soto Street Market, co-hosted with Two Tides friends at Superbloom, is back on Saturday, March 26th. They’ll start accepting vendor applications on February 22nd. More details about how to be a vendor coming soon.

Board & Brush Spring Workshop with Chatham Charcuterie, March 27th-6:00pm-9:00pm

Join them for a special DIY collaborative workshop with Sydney from Chatham Charcuterie! In addition to creating a personalized wood tray or sign from our gallery, you will be treated to a hands-on demonstration and creation of your own special Spring-themed charcuterie board. Think pastels, chocolates, and all things SPRING! They provide all the materials and instruct you step-by-step for both parts of the workshop. The cost for this workshop is $115 for adults (age 16+) and pre-registration is required. (some projects have a $5 up-charge due to accessory parts). They’ve got lots crammed into this workshop so please arrive on time so we can get started with the fun right at 6:00!

Sulfur Street Fair + April First Friday, April 1st-5:00pm-9:00pm

Sulfur Studios is pleased to announce a host of exciting events taking place on Friday, April 1st from 5 – 9PM in conjunction with First Fridays in Starland! In their Main Gallery, they are thrilled to present new work by John Alleyne in his solo exhibition, “…in a perfect world, I would be perfect, world.”, on display from March 31st – April 23rd, 2022. In their ON::View Residency space, they will celebrate the finale of “Portrait of US,” a project of the Nomadic Photo Ark by Monica Jane Frisell and Adam Scher. Using their mobile darkroom and office space – lovingly called The Ark – Frisell and Scher have collected stories and portraits of members of the Savannah community through large format black and white photography. Stop by the Residency studio to see portraits and hear interviews that were made during their Residency! Rise and Shine Yoga at Big Bon Bodega, April 2nd-7:00am

This event will feature 5 curated wines from the Flanagan collection along with pairing bites designed to accentuate the nuances of top-end Sonoma County wines. Food will be provided by River Street’s newest Irish pub, John McGraws. You will have a chance to hear from Eric directly about the specific vineyards they use and what sets them apart.

Yoga Jam at Starland Yard, April 10th-12:30pm-1:30pm

Join Jessie Gulliver and Michael McCormick, aka Turtle of Savannah bands Turtlefolk and Turtle and the Heads, for a fantastic donation-based Yoga Jam to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. What’s a YOGA JAM!? The mission is to unite, or ‘yoke,’ the two worlds of yoga and music together! Unique Design X Group Collectible Design Fair, April 27th-May 1-10:00am-6:00pm

The second edition of Unique Design X Savannah @ Trustees’ Garden will offer an exciting, dynamic event centered around three complementary experiences: INDOOR – Unique Design X Group’s curated collectible design show, A NEW SPACE AGE, will be based in the Kehoe Ironworks Building at Trustees’ Garden and will feature multidisciplinary work by 21 artists, architects and designers from 15 countries and 9 representative galleries.
