Southbound Brewing is hosting it’s annual JerryDay to celebrate the music of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead on Saturday, August 8th. Visit local art vendors, enjoy a Shakedown Street brew, the Backyard Grill Food Truck and an acoustic set from Charlie Fog from 4pm-6pm. Then from 7pm-10pm get ready to enjoy more burgers from the Backyard Grill Food Truck plus an electric set from Charlie Fog. Southbound invites you to come and get funky with them while practicing social distancing and please wear a mask.
Crab Crackin’ Event at Old Daufuskie Crab Co. restaurant on Daufuskie Island from 3pm -6pm on Sunday, August 9th hosted by The Daufuskie Difference. Savannah Adult Recreation Club (SARC) and Southern Eagle GA are hosting a Beach day at Tybee Island Pier on Saturday August 8th from 1pm to 10pm. Let’s all enjoy some social distancing fun on Tybee Island. SARC’s friends over at Landshark will be providing live music off the pier, as well as, drink specials, and a ton of giveaways. SARC will also be hosting a FREE spikeball tournament in the morning that is available for people of all skill levels (register here: https://bit.ly/3f5HxNH). There will be a beach party from 1pm -5pm with a music provided by DJ NattyHeavy. Food and drink from 5pm-7pm across the street from the beach at Tybee Time, Spanky’s, Bernies and Wind Rose Cafe.
