Restore and Renew with Sue Finkle of Savannah Power Yoga. They are hosting a restorative yoga class on Saturday, August 22nd from 2:00pm to 4:00pm to heal the body and mind. Sue will lead you through a series of poses that allow you to surrender your body onto supportive blankets and other props you can find around your house. Complete your practice with Sue’s guided relaxation and float into a deep rest. Treat yourself to this practice and see what can open up in you. Students of all ages and levels welcome. Painting, Pints & Pooches with Southbound Brewing on Saturday, August 22nd from 12:00pm-2:00pm. The event is being hosted by The Humane Society of Greater Savannah and for $20 you will receive one painting activity plus one pint. Tickets can be purchased here.
Great Georgia Pollinator Census is happening Saturday, August 22nd from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens is offering free admission at 2 Canebrake road to celebrate the census plus a plant sale, children’s story walk, ask a master gardener booth and a book booth. Help your community by filling out the census online and have a little family friendly fun to boot!
