Memorial Day Weekend

May 22-25

Find peace and beauty in the gorgeous waterways of Savannah. Grab a kayak at Savannah Canoe and Kayak. Call ahead and reserve your spot and find out how to rent your kayak with minimal interaction. It’s the long weekend and what better way to have an adventure while social distancing. They have several tours available.

Do you like beer and boiled peanuts? I know, silly question…who doesn’t. Head to Two Tides from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday to take part in the C+C Factory boiled peanut pop-up and wash it down with any of Two Tides handcrafted beers. Don’t forget to take home some to-go beer slushies for the long weekend (they sell out fast so move quick!).

Is the quarantine 15 quickly turning into the quarantine 50? If so, join Kristianna Epperson for one of her sweat sessions.  Bootcamp on Saturday or Flow and Breathe on Sunday at 9:30 am at Hull Park.  Venmo @Kristianne-Epperson $12 which reserves your spot and if you attend both classes $20. Bring a friend and be prepared to SWEAT!

Have you checked out the newest addition to Forsyth Park, CQ on Forsyth Park? Read about how they are safely serving food & coffee here and then grab your blanket and head out. On Sunday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm they’re hosting live music featuring Laiken Love & Fellowship. CQ Forsyth will be serving up some fabulous to-go food as well as beer, wine & cocktails. Settle in for a perfect afternoon.

Don’t miss all the fun activities within one-stop, Starland Yard. Grab a bite at the Loki Food Truck Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Then listen to DJ PressPlay spinnin’ records on Saturday and Sunday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. While you’re there, view Parker Stewart’s exhibition Love Thy Neighborhood. Finish your night with a cocktail or frozen drink and a healthy helping of homemade pasta made right in Vittoria’s very own kitchen. You can do all this while observing safety guidelines.
