Unique Design X Group Collectible Design Fair, April 27th-May 1-10:00am-6:00pm

The second edition of Unique Design X Savannah @ Trustees’ Garden will offer an exciting, dynamic event centered around three complementary experiences: INDOOR – Unique Design X Group’s curated collectible design show, A NEW SPACE AGE, will be based in the Kehoe Ironworks Building at Trustees’ Garden and will feature multidisciplinary work by 21 artists, architects and designers from 15 countries and 9 representative galleries. OUTDOOR – The Skate-able Object Park designed by Mexican artist Stefan Brüggemann honors Unique Design X Group’s annual commitment to working with a talented artist or designer to create a skate-able object park that will host activities that engage with the local community as well as local nonprofits dedicated to underserved populations. LIVE STREAMING EVENTS & ACTIVATIONS – Unique Design X will host a series of interactive talks, livestream events and socially distanced activations in collaboration with The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

Fairy & Gnome Festival 2022 at Oatland Island Wildlife Center, April 30th-10:00am-2:00pm

Enjoy this family-friendly day of enchantment that’s all about the “wee folk” getting up close with the natural world and encouraging imaginative outdoor play. Socially-distanced, outdoor activities will include a scavenger hunt, fashion show, gem mining, fairy and gnome home building and food trucks. Bring the family and stroll through Oatland’s magical trails and maybe you will catch a glimpse of a fairy or gnome looking for a place to call home.

Retreat Yo’Self 2022 by Cohen’s Retreat, April 30th-11:00am-3:00pm

The Savannah Stage Company Hosts The Jungle Book Family Fun Day, April 30th-10:00am-2:00pm

Join Savannah Stage Company at Savannah Theatre for a day of face painting, puppet making, cookie decorating, and more, plus a performance of The Jungle Book with a chance to meet and greet with the stars of the show! All Access Passes includes a stop at each Family Fun Day activity, plus a ticket to either the 10am performance or the 1pm performance, your choice!
Performance only tickets are perfect for those who are interested in just seeing the show or parents accompanying little ones to Family Fun Day! Activities and performance are perfect your ages 8+. Full concessions will be available for purchase!

Books, Blankets, and Family Fun, April 30th-10:00am-3:00pm

On Saturday, April 30, 2022, Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools will take over Daffin Park for our annual Family Engagement Day event. There will be food trucks on site, music and games, reading activities and special guests! The top 3 schools with the most parent attendance will receive prizes. Students must register at the event information table by 2:30pm in order to be counted for the attendance competition. The event runs from 10am to 3pm. They hope to see you there!

Dine with Legends at Rhett, May 1st-6:00pm-9:00pm

Celebrate the tastes of The Lowcountry and join them for a showcasing of the best of Southern Coastal Cuisine! Rhett Savannah will be joined by award-winning Charleston-based sister restaurant Hank’s Seafood for a one-night-only collaboration dinner on Sunday, May 1. The white-jacketed service from Hank’s Seafood, along with the Southern charm of Rhett, combine for an evening steeped in Lowcountry fare. Rhett’s Executive Chef Javier Hernandez and Hank’s Seafood’s Executive Chef Tim Richardson have collaborated to create an inventive five-course dinner menu showcasing top dishes from each restaurant. Delight in oysters and champagne to start, She-Crab Soup, Tuna Tartare, and a main course featuring local Savannah seafood with wine pairing. Plus, a decadent dessert featuring fan favorites of both Rhett and Hank’s.

After 2 years of cancellations due to Covid, Doggie Carnival is back in Forsyth Park on Sunday May 1st 2022 from 12pm-4pm. Doggie Carnival is an annual gathering of thousands of dog lovers in Forsyth Park. The carnival has food, drinks, doggie derby, bounce houses, cotton candy, popcorn, ice cream and many dog and kid friendly games and activities.
