Unique Design X Group Collectible Design Fair, April 27th-May 1-10:00am-6:00pm
The second edition of Unique Design X Savannah @ Trustees’ Garden will offer an exciting, dynamic event centered around three complementary experiences: INDOOR – Unique Design X Group’s curated collectible design show, A NEW SPACE AGE, will be based in the Kehoe Ironworks Building at Trustees’ Garden and will feature multidisciplinary work by 21 artists, architects and designers from 15 countries and 9 representative galleries. OUTDOOR – The Skate-able Object Park designed by Mexican artist Stefan Brüggemann honors Unique Design X Group’s annual commitment to working with a talented artist or designer to create a skate-able object park that will host activities that engage with the local community as well as local nonprofits dedicated to underserved populations. LIVE STREAMING EVENTS & ACTIVATIONS – Unique Design X will host a series of interactive talks, livestream events and socially distanced activations in collaboration with The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

Fairy & Gnome Festival 2022 at Oatland Island Wildlife Center, April 30th-10:00am-2:00pm
Enjoy this family-friendly day of enchantment that’s all about the “wee folk” getting up close with the natural world and encouraging imaginative outdoor play. Socially-distanced, outdoor activities will include a scavenger hunt, fashion show, gem mining, fairy and gnome home building and food trucks. Bring the family and stroll through Oatland’s magical trails and maybe you will catch a glimpse of a fairy or gnome looking for a place to call home.

Celebrate the tastes of The Lowcountry and join them for a showcasing of the best of Southern Coastal Cuisine! Rhett Savannah will be joined by award-winning Charleston-based sister restaurant Hank’s Seafood for a one-night-only collaboration dinner on Sunday, May 1. The white-jacketed service from Hank’s Seafood, along with the Southern charm of Rhett, combine for an evening steeped in Lowcountry fare. Rhett’s Executive Chef Javier Hernandez and Hank’s Seafood’s Executive Chef Tim Richardson have collaborated to create an inventive five-course dinner menu showcasing top dishes from each restaurant. Delight in oysters and champagne to start, She-Crab Soup, Tuna Tartare, and a main course featuring local Savannah seafood with wine pairing. Plus, a decadent dessert featuring fan favorites of both Rhett and Hank’s.
