Reindeer on the Roof at Peregrin, December 15th-4:30pm-8:30pm

Santa and the gang are making a landing on the Peregrin rooftop! They will have the live reindeer along with santa and his sleigh which happen to make for a great photo opp! They will also have The Lowcountry Boil Band plus specialty items. You won’t want to miss it! The reindeer will be with them from 5:30-7:30 and The Lowcountry Boil Band will be jamming from 6:30-9:30. They look forward to celebrating the holidays with you!

It’s A Good Old Fashioned Party at Ardsley Station, December 15th-5:30pm-7:30pm

You’re invited to a Good Old Fashioned Party at Ardsley Station! Back in March, they sat down with Woodford Reserve and selected our very first personal selection single barrel of whiskey. They want you to be the first to try it! On Dec. 15, celebrate the exclusive launch with a whole hog BBQ dinner! Tickets are $75 and include your first old fashioned, your BBQ dinner prepared by Peculiar Pig Farm and delicious small bites from Chef Dustin.

Macrame Workshop at Stump Savannah, December 16th-7:00pm-8:30pm

Spend a night learning about Fiber Art Techniques with Blooming Fibers, and create your own macrame hanger! Pair with and plant a 4” Norfolk Island Pine to leave with a perfectly curated set! Come ready to get your hands a little dirty & have some fun! Price includes all materials. If you have other plants you would like help repotting feel free to bring those in as well.

December Nights & Holiday Lights, December 16th-December 17th-6:00pm-9:00pm

December Nights & Holiday Lights will be returning to a family-oriented walk through once again this year. Festivities kickoff Friday, November 25th and run on select nights through Saturday, December 24th. This year, Holiday Lights is bigger than ever and spans nearly five acres.
Each night of Holiday Lights will feature:
-S’mores stations
-Hot chocolate and coffee bar
-Light dinner options from the Dawg House Café
-A special visit from Santa Claus!
Tickets are only available online and are sold by entry timeslot. Once inside, we encourage you to stay as long as you would like until the event ends at 9:00 p.m. General Admission Tickets are $15. Children 3 and under are free.

Twinkle Bark Stroll 2022, December 16th-December 18th-5:00pm-8:00pm

Make your adoption meet and greet a night to remember with their Twinkle Bark (and Purr) Stroll Adoption Events! For a minimum $5 donation per person, come take a walk through our lighted wonderland, see our festival of trees, and meet our adoptable pets!
Event Nights and Times:
Friday-Sunday December 9-11 and 16-18, 5 to 8 pm
Adopters will receive a special goody bag of coupons and treats from our sponsors.

Holiday Happenings at Trustees Theater, December 17th-11:00am, 3:00pm & 7:00pm

11:00am-The Muppet Christmas Carol

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, this beloved childhood staple is the perfect way to introduce kids to Charles Dickens’ classic tale about the joy of giving and the true meaning of Christmas. Deck the halls with the inimitable Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge who is joined by an irresistible band of Muppets for a musical comedy wonder featuring free cookies, giveaways, and an appearance by a special holiday visitor.

Pass through the seven levels of the Candy Cane forest, through the sea of swirly twirly gum drops, and through the Lincoln Tunnel to join everyone’s favorite human-raised-as-an-elf, Will Ferrell, at one of the most hilarious, highly-quotable, and heartwarming holiday movies around. Only a cotton-headed ninnymuggins would miss this afternoon of pointy-toed, jingle bell bliss where you can feast on a free goodie bag featuring the four major elf food groups (candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup) along with other surprises. This event is free to the general public with the donation of a non-perishable food item benefiting Second Harvest.

Ring your bell when an angel gets his wings and enjoy this quintessential holiday classic with your family, friends, and neighbors. Frank Capra directs this enduring ode to small-town life that is not only one of the most beloved Christmas movies of all time, but also one of the greatest. After facing financial ruin, George Bailey (Jimmy Stewart) meets his bumbling guardian angel, who shows him what his town would have been like if he had never been born. This event is free to the general public with the donation of a non-perishable food item benefiting Second Harvest.

Trustees’ Garden Christmas Festival, December 17th-9:00am-4:00pm

Trustees’ Garden presents their third annual Family Holiday Event–crafted for our community–that brings together our neighbors and visitors in celebration…with 100% chance of SNOW! The Christmas Festival at Trustees’ Garden will be a safe, fun event filled with activities for all ages! Santa will be in attendance from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. There are rides, food trucks, Christmas vendors, activities and–of course–SNOW SLEDDING! ALL DAY PASS – $20.00 Rain or Shine; no refunds for inclement weather.

Tybee’s first seasonal art market taking place at multiple locations on Tybee’s North End Arts District. Featuring 60+ artists that will be placed at various businesses with maps directing customers to their favorite artists. This is a Tybee Arts Association Sponsored Event.

They’re so happy to announce their annual Holiday Market! Join them from 11-5pm on Sat Dec 17th for their last-minute Holiday Desoto Street Market! They’ll have a mix of new and repeat local vendors with awesome locally made products to shop on the street, with fresh tunes and a special appearance from Santa Claus himself — great day to get one last visit or photo op with Santa 😉 . Two Tides Brewing Company will be serving up delicious brews on the street and wine & coffee will be served at Superbloom. Christmas at the Cathedral, December 18th-5:00pm

The Cathedral Choir and Cathedral Brass present their annual program of music for Advent and Christmas. Scripture readings juxtaposed with choral music tell the story of the Christ child from the foretelling by the prophets to the visit of the Magi. The audience also has the opportunity to join the choir, brass, and organ in singing the traditional carols of the season. Tickets needed.
