Pulse Art + Technology Festival 2022, March 2nd-March 5th (times vary)

Telfair’s annual PULSE Art + Technology Festival returns for its 15th year in March with two exhibitions exploring illusion and meditative applications of technology in art. Look to the calendar of scheduled events which include tech talks, curator’s tour, youth workshops and a FREE family day on March 5th. Don’t miss on March 4th PULSE Free Friday Night & Evening Performance: “Spaces: A Multimedia Performance with Dance, Sound and Interactive Visuals by Tybee Ballet Theater.

12th Annual Chefs & Chocolates, March 4th-7:00pm-10:00pm

Urban Hope Fundraiser at Kehoe Ironworks, 660 East Broughton Street, Savannah, GA 31401. Chefs and Chocolates is an upbeat, fun night with delicious food, great music, auctions and a celebration of the great things Urban Hope is doing in our community. The event will include live music, as well as, tastings of appetizers and desserts from Savannah’s finest chefs. Tickets can be purchased here.

Cohen’s Retreat hosts March Madness: France vs. Oregon, March 4th- 6:00pm-8:00pm

March Madness: France vs Oregon. A Food & Wine Pairing Event! Friday, March 4th from 6-8 PM at Cohen’s Retreat. $60 per person gets you 6 drink tickets. There will be 3 food stations with 2 wine pairings at each station. Food station themes include: oysters, smoked, and charcuterie. Wine selections will be from France and Oregon Regions. Live Music provided by the Low Country Crooners. Kids food and drink: $15 at the door.

Underdog + Ardsley Station GA Craft Beer Day, March 5th-11:00am-4:00pm

They can’t sell you their beers just yet, but they can certainly throw a damn party and hang out with y’all! Their new neighbors, @ardsley_station, have been kind enough to let them use their space to celebrate Ga Craft Beer Day. They will have a VERY limited number of the 2022 Ga Craft Brewers Guild pint glasses for sale. Once they’re gone…they gone, yo. Ardsley Station is taking $2 off any GA craft beers during the event for you to pour into that fine glass. This is also your first chance to purchase Underdog shirts, hats, and stickers. Be the envy of all your friends, gain an insane amount of confidence, and be more popular at parties! This is a fundraiser for them and the cash will be used for some of the more fun things they want to have in the brewery.

Seuss Fest 2022 at Savannah Children’s Museum, March 5th-10:00am-1:00pm

On Saturday, March 5th, local families are invited to celebrate the fun and whimsical world of Dr. Seuss during Seuss Fest. Event attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite Dr. Seuss character in honor of the children’s book author. The event will take place from 10 am to 1 pm at Savannah Children’s Museum, 655 Louisville Rd. Savannah, GA 31401. Our museum educators will lead the group with Seuss stories, games, and activities. Dancing Oobleck, a Read-A-Thon, and a rhyming scavenger hunt maze are only a few of the fun activities in which families can participate. Purchase tickets here.

An Evening with Savannah Rep, March 5th-8:00pm

Savannah Repertory Theatre, South Georgia’s flagship professional theatre, is pleased to announce its return to live performance after two years away with An Evening of music, community, and their 2022 Season Announcement. Two-time Tony Award Winner Michael Cerveris will be presented with Rep’s inaugural Trailblazer award and a retrospective of his genre-bending career. City of Savannah Alderman Nick Palumbo of the 4th District will be presented with the Community Vanguard award for his contributions to the city and its residents. Rep’s 2022 Princess Grace Award nominee, composer and lyricist Sushi Soucy, will perform selections from their original work.

Seed Exchange and Garden Day at Wormsloe, March 5th-9:30am-4:00pm

Calling all green thumbs and those who wish to cultivate. The first summer season at the Wormsloe Heritage Garden was a success and they would like to share their knowledge and hard work. Bring seeds to exchange with them and the growing gardening community. They will be sharing garden knowledge with workshops, kids crafts, and garden stories throughout the day.
Schedule:
9:30 am – Compost and Vermiculture with Benji Adams of Bammm Farms
11:00 am – Honey Bees of Wormsloe with Ranger Gretchen
12:00 pm – Garden Stories for all ages with Ranger Kim
1:00 pm – 3 Sisters Garden Games with Ranger Sean
2:00 pm – Origins of Southern Food Crops with Sarah Ross of UGA Center for Research and Education at Wormsloe
Crafts with Live Oak Public Libraries and the Wormsloe Rangers throughout the day.
This event is free with admission, which ranges from $4.50 per youth to $10 per adult. Starting at 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
