Ghost Coast is reopening their doors and are coming back with a BBQ & Blues bang on November 6th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Join them for a free outdoor concert from local favorites, Ben Keiser Band. They are giving back a portion of each drink sold to the Humane Society of Greater Savannah. Also, enjoy the Bowtie BBQ food truck serving classic with all the fixins.
Mask-erade Fundraising Event hosted by Book Nation of Dreamers on November 8th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Book Nation of Dreamers has been hard at work these last few months to serve our community and cannot wait to share in celebration with Savannah at LaScala Ristorante! Please come show your support for their mission to promote childhood literacy, holistic wellness and resources for the children and families of Savannah that need it most. Their goal for the evening is to raise funds to build and distribute community lending libraries across the neighborhoods of West Savannah and surrounding areas. Purchase your ticket online or at the door. Ticket includes live music, entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, a cocktail and a silent auction.
Please join LaScala Ristorante for their First Friday event on November 6th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm in the courtyard to support local charities and vendors. There will be fresh oysters, campfire cannolis, wine and music. Local artists and crafts people will have their goods on display for purchase, a great way to get ahead of holiday shopping. Baxly Block Party to benefit The Humane Society of Greater Savannah is happening on November 6th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Help support local businesses and local artists all while enjoying live entertainment and performances to benefit the HSGS. Complete list of vendors here.
Ghost Coast Distillery and Creature Comforts Brewery host an unforgettable evening of Raising Spirits on November 7th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Join these two boozy powerhouses at the beautiful Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum for an unforgettable evening of Raising Spirits for Savannah’s service industry. Enjoy music from Little Stranger and Of Good Nature, along with fine spirits and craft brews in a safe, social-distanced environment. Chazito’s Latin Cuisine food truck will be on-site. The event is free and open to the public, but there is a suggested $5 per person that will be donated to Giving Kitchen and their mission to assist the local service industry members.
Stand up for Kids Comedy Event hosted by Performance Initiatives and Momentum Development Solutions on November 7th from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. Join them for an evening of fun, laughter and philanthropy. Local funny folks will be putting it all on the line with a stand up routine for at-risk-youth in our community. They are running campaigns to raise the most funds to win the “Crack Up Crown,” they need your help. Live online at 7:00pm. Tickets are $40 per person and include two mini liquor or wine bottles, popcorn, theater candy and a few other surprises. In keeping with their theme of whimsy and fun they will have “ticket drop fairies” delivering ticket boxes.
