The Full Monty, November 17th-November 20th

The Full Monty is a musical with book by Terrence McNally and score by David Yazbek. In this Americanized musical stage version adapted from the 1997 British film of the same name, six unemployed Buffalo steelworkers, low on both cash and prospects, decide to present a strip act at a local club after seeing their wives’ enthusiasm for a touring company of Chippendales. As they prepare for the show, working through their fears, self-consciousness, and anxieties, they overcome their inner demons and find strength in their camaraderie. Tickets $20

Ossabaw Island Fall Day Trip, November 19th-9:00am-4:00pm

Explore Ossabaw Island — Georgia’s third largest barrier island and first Heritage Preserve. The day begins with a one hour boat ride through the Moon River District’s rivers and creeks, across Ossabaw Sound to Ossabaw Island’s North End. Hosted by the Ossabaw Island Foundation. This is an all-walking day trip. Expect to walk about three (3) miles in total throughout the day. Tickets; $95 plus fees via eventbrite

All-You-Can-Eat Oyster Roast at The Wyld benefitting the Humane Society, November 20th-4:00pm-7:00pm

The Wyld and Savannah Distributing are hosting an All-you-can-eat Oyster Roast benefitting the animals at the Humane Society for Greater Savannah. $30 per person gets you all you can eat oysters plus live music with Payne Bridges. There will be specialty cocktails and beer specials that also benefit HSGS. The Humane Society will also have some adoptable dogs at the event hanging out!
