Savannah Christmas Market at Plant Riverside District Kicks Off, November 25th

Kick off this joyous event on Friday, November 25, by taking a stroll through the European-style Christmas market and basking in the glow of lights at the Tree Lighting Ceremony. The celebrations continue through Monday, January 2, with live music and performances, children’s activities, photos with Santa Claus, the Savannah Harbor Boat Parade of Lights and more. Bring the whole family and discover how Plant Riverside District is spreading good tidings and holiday cheer throughout Savannah.

Turkey Trot Scavenger Hunt at Wormsloe, November 25th-8:30am-3:00pm

Gobble Gobble! It’s time for a jog-gle! Wormsloe State Historic Site’s annual Turkey Trot is Black Friday, November 25, 2022. This trot is at your own pace and provides a chance to experience some of the site’s expansive nature trails and enjoy outdoor family time. One of the site’s holiday staple events, it’s a perfect way to work off some of those extra calories from the big Turkey Day meal. Check in at the Visitor Center between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. for a trail map with the clues. The event is free with admission, which ranges from $4.50 children to $10 adults.

December Nights & Holiday Lights at Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens, November 25th-November 26th-6:00pm-9:00pm

December Nights & Holiday Lights will be returning to a family-oriented walk through once again this year. Festivities kickoff Friday, November 25th and run on select nights through Saturday, December 24th. This year, Holiday Lights is bigger than ever and spans nearly five acres. Each night of Holiday Lights will feature: -S’mores stations, -Hot chocolate and coffee bar, -Light dinner options from the Dawg House Café, A special visit from Santa Claus. Tickets are only available online and are sold by entry timeslot. Once inside, we encourage you to stay as long as you would like until the event ends at 9:00 p.m. General Admission Tickets are $15. Children 3 and under are free. 2022 Savannah Boat Parade of Lights, November 26th-7:00pm-9:00pm

Join them… One and ALL… Saturday, November 26th, 2022 for the Annual FREE Savannah Boat Parade of Lights. This 20-year tradition has been enjoyed by generations of locals and visitors alike. The Savannah Boat Parade of Lights, headed by the Savannah Harbor Foundation, has also greatly benefited the charities it has contributed to! This year they are partnering with Greenbriar Children’s Center, an amazing group that has been helping children in need in Savannah since 1949! www.GreenbriarChildrensCenter.org They will be donating proceeds raised by the parade to the Center this year… And… A very special treat… The Greenbriar children will be designing our parade t-shirts! An Afternoon at Lattimore for Renegade, November 26th-2:00pm-5:00pm

An afternoon at Lattimore house with music from The Hitman for Renegade Paws Rescue! There will be light bites, puppies to pet, and a raffle to win a dinner for four catered and created just for you at Lattimore. Tickets are a $20 donation at the door, but if you bring an item from our donation list (to be posted discussion), entry will be $15. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. BYOB. Weather permitting this event will be on the back lawn.
