Peacefully Rooted hosts Peace in the Park on Saturday, October 10th from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. As the season starts to change and we natural retreat inward, what better time than to ground ourselves and prepare for the internal change within. What to bring: yoga mat, 2 blankets or a towel. If you have lower back issues you want to bring something to put under your knees. It’s starting to get chilly out make sure you dress warmly. The Spear-it of Halloween Ghost Boat with Captain Derek starts this weekend on Friday, October 9th at 6:00pm to 7:30pm, it continues on weekends through October. Your Pirate Crew will guide you through the waters of Tybee Bay and share Haunting Tales of times past. Prepare to enjoy classic Halloween Hit songs as you embark on your Ghost Boat through the low country. They encourage you to dress up, bring refreshments and be ready to have an overall fun time. Please use your best discretion upon booking as some material may be unsettling for children under 10. You can reserve your tickets here.


Bethany Farm Alpacas (711 Bethany Road, Springfield GA)  is hosting Farm Day Fun on Saturday, October 10th starting at 9am. Every year there is a weekend dedicated to Alpaca farms across the country where farms open to the public. This year Bethany Farms will be participating in this event, for $5 each you will receive most activities and children in strollers free. Popcorn, cotton candy and drinks sold separately. Some activities will include hay rides, crafts with alpaca fiber, educational info, petting and feeding the animals, including mini horses and baby goats, games, mini horse cart rides (extra charge) and fall photo pics with an alpaca.


Service Brewing is celebrating it’s 6 year anniversary on Saturday, October 10th from 12pm to 10pm. They have an all-day party planned with plenty of open space for you to enjoy some cold beer and good eats. This year they will expand their taproom festivities to the packaging and production area with additional seating, a second bar, game room and a line-up of Savanah’s best DJ’s. A portion of every beer sold will benefit their seasonal charity Minority Veterans of America.  No cover, no tickets, just show up and grab a cold pint. Farm Bluffton will be serving delicious plates from 2pm to 8:30pm with classic menu favorites to include the famous Farm burger and crispy fried chicken sandwich and free Popcorn from 12pm-2pm.


Savannah Food Truck Festival  (CANCELLED) is Sunday, October 11th from 11:00am to 6:00pm in Daffin Park. You can expect food trucks, fashion trucks, barber trucks and pet trucks.  Also available will be free yoga in the park, beer & wine, live music and DJs on 3 stages, craft vendors, yard games, bounce houses, face painting and other kids activities. The event is pet friendly with water stations.  Free admission.
