Make new friends at ‘Social in Savannah’ meet-up event, October 13th-5:30pm-8:30pm

Social in Savannah is a night of meeting new people. This isn’t a singles event, this isn’t a traditional networking event, this is a night for young professionals in Savannah to meet new friends. After Lauren Wolverton and Jamie Burton, hosts of The Chicks and Dip Podcast, released an episode about making friends as an adult, they got tons of great feedback. They realized that young people in Savannah are struggling to make friends. They chatted with Morgan Bryant, owner of Morgan Rae Boutique, and decided to collaborate to host a Savannah meetup! Social in Savannah will be at the gorgeous Olmsted Savannah in the parlor room and pool deck. It will feature pop-up shops, a DJ, a bar tended by brand new Savannah business The Cocktail Boys, and a social game.  The social game is designed to get people talking to other people. It will be a “to-do list” style game and will feature tasks like “Find someone who was born in the same state as you,” or “Ask someone you don’t already know what their favorite movie is.” The goal of Social in Savannah is to help people make friendships that will enrich their lives in the Hostess City!
