Victory North’s – Rock and Roll Trick or Treat, October 27th-7:00pm

A one-night-only Tribute Band Costume Party featuring many of the city’s favorite musicians performing the songs of iconic, beloved bands. While long time locals look forward to next year’s planned reopening of the Jinx, indie concert promoter Knocked Out Loaded joins forces with premier showcase venue Victory North and online alternative weekly paper the Savannahian to pay homage to that intimate music club’s longstanding Halloween tradition: a one-night-only Tribute Band Costume Party featuring many of the city’s favorite musicians performing the songs of iconic, beloved bands.


Savannah Pride Festival 2022, October 27th-October 29th

Poe’s Tavern Pumpkin Carving Contest & Dog Costume Contest, October 27th-5:00pm-9:00pm

Now that it’s officially Halloween month, they are pleased to announce the date of their Pumpkin Carving Contest and Dog Costume Contest! Join them on October 27th for an evening of fun for the whole family, including your dog. They will provide pumpkins and carving tools. Just bring your creativity! Spooky Soiree at Hewitt Oaks, October 27th-6:30pm-8:30pm

They’re celebrating the season with tantalizing hors d’oeuvres served by their zombies, frightfully delicious food stations, and dangerously tasty signature cocktails. You’ll also get the chance to showcase your costumes at spooky photo op areas, with prizes for the most spine-tingling and creative ensembles! While costumes are encouraged, they aren’t required. They want everyone to come out and have a fabulous time, and they’d much rather you join us sans costume than not come at all! You’ll also get the chance to win fabulous prizes from our incredible local sponsors, including spa gift certificates, jewelry, and more!



Music, Meditation, & Mantra Concert with Joel Karabo Elliott & Heartnectar, October 28th-6:30pm-8:30pm

Heartnectar is a therapeutic sound duet channeled through the unification of Michelle Carter and Joel Karabo Elliott. They uniquely fuse gentle world-folk music, meditation and mantra into a harmonic resonance that bridges somatic healing with musical enjoyment. Holistically, Heartnectar synergizes spiritual science and practical land-based sustainability. They are beekeepers, herbalists, permaculturalists, community gatherers and musicians. They are active in the fields of science-based Consciousness, integrative medicine, and explore the power of sound and prayer to support geo-cleansing and regional healing. Joel is also widely known as a world music composer and leader of the South African-origin ensemble Roots Grown Deep, which has performed in over a dozen countries and is currently emerging with the “American Branches” out of Appalachia.



Vampire Ball III, October 28th-8:00pm

On Friday, Oct. 28th, 2022 (rescheduled from Oct. 15th due to the original event host closing on Sept. 4th) join your fellow creatures of the night as it’ll be time to ascend again into Georgia’s oldest city for a night like no other. Grab your capes, sharpen your fangs, dust off your boots and come quench your celebratory appetite as Markster Con‘s VAMPIRE BALL returns for one evening only (8pm-Midnight, 18+, non-smoking) for a 3rd year – rescheduled for Oct. 28th, 2022.

Fright Night at Club 51 Degrees by The Firm, October 28th-6:30pm-9:30pm

Join them for a costume dance party on the second floor of Club 51! Sheena Allen and Stacie New will be leading with special guest Ebony Jones. This event is only open to ticket holders – not the general public! Costumes are not required but are highly encouraged. Bring your friends and let’s dance!


Ultimate Halloween Bash at Moon Deck Plant Riverside, October 29th-7:00pm-1:00am

This spooky, fun-filled event for ages 21+ will feature live music by Super Deluxe, a Charleston, S.C. band that performs a lively mix of pop, Top 40, ‘80s hits, Motown, classic rock, hip hop, oldies, beach music, soul, funk, disco and reggae. A live DJ will close out the night with high-energy dance music, plus a photo booth will be available throughout the evening. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their best Halloween costume and to participate in the annual Halloween costume contest. The first place winner will be awarded a free one-night stay at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District. Additional prizes will be available. $10 cover charge at the door.




The Terror Vision Fright Fest is back yet again (formerly known as the Graveface Fright Fest but why keep that name when they now have a TV shop in Sav)! They used to do this event at the Lucas but this year are doing it at the Ben Tucker Theater in the Savannah Cultural Arts Center at 201 Montgomery St from 2pm-midnight on October 29th.
That’s 10 solid hours of creepy fun including 6 Horror Flicks (none of which have been screened in Savannah – at least since I’ve been here the past 12 years) + several Merch Vendors (holler if you want to be one – terrorvisionvids@gmail.com) + themed food/bev + Raffles for Awesome Prizes before each film + a Fake Trailer contest with some big Gift Packages (email to get in on trailer contest).



Marsh Monster Masquerade, October 29th-11:00am-6:00pm

Monsters of all ages are invited to Skidaway Island State Park this fall. They will be having a spooky mask decorating contest for children and adults, children’s pumpkin decorating, a dog costume contest, fair-style games, prizes, and more. A trunk-or-treat from 4 PM to 6 PM will cap off the evening. So, don your best costume and bring the whole family out to enjoy the cool autumn air, marsh views, plenty of Halloween candy, and a haunting good time in the park!

Where’s Noble Bones? A Bone Chilling Scavenger Hunt!, October 29th-9:00am-4:30pm

Come help us find Noble Jones, he has lost all of his Noble Bones! Every Saturday in October Wormsloe State Historic Site will be holding a spooky scavenger hunt. It gives families a perfect way to get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful natural and cultural resources here at Wormsloe while having some fun! Guests that wish to participate in this scavenger hunt will make their way to the Museum where they will find two QR codes. These will provide detailed instructions and their first clue to begin their journey to find Noble Bones. Make sure and download a QR reader if you phone’s camera doesn’t already read a QR code. The first clue will leave you to the first “Bones” family member hidden somewhere on the main trail. Near this skeleton will be the next QR code with the next clue. After you locate the fourth Bone’s family member, it will lead you to your final destination. No additional program fees apply to participate in the scavenger hunt beyond admission to the site. The scavenger hunt will be available during operation hours each Saturday in October. Every Saturday will offer a different experience with unique locations and clues for locating the skeletons.


Savannah Pride- PAWrade, October 29th-11:00am-12:00pm

Pride’s really gone to the dogs! Bring your furry best friend to participate in the Pawrade, complete with a doggie costume contest. The winning pooch gets a prize from Central Animal Hospital!

2022 Witches Dance and Magic Crawl, October 30th-2:00pm

Yes, witches, it is ON! Calling all witches, wizards, warlocks and weirdos for the Third Annual Witch Dance to enchant Savannah with a flash mob to scare the dead and invigorate the living. Small witches and fur witches welcome! Gather on the east side of the Confederate monument Sunday 10/30 at 2pm for a flash mob booty shake with live drumming provided by the rhythm magicians of Samba Savannah! Easy choreography will be posted below or just show up and follow along. Afterwards stroll up the Bull Street corridor to visit with bewitching businesses like Ordinary Magic, Henny Penny, Woofgang Bakery, and Foxy Loxy before heading over to Cosmic Corner on 38th Street, where the Samhain Festival begins at 3pm.
