Flow with your Bliss Salt Room Special Event, September 15th-5:30pm & 6:45pm

Bliss Reiki Arts is excited to collaborate with @bodypolishboutique for this special event! They will be offering two back to back events on 9/15 one from 5:30pm- 6: 30 pm and one from 6:45pm to 7:45 pm. The experience begins with calming breath work and a guided meditation to begin to allow the body and mind to become settled. Immersed in sound, gentle yoga postures are led to strengthen, relax & align the physical body. Alongside the postures, the vibrational music continues supporting the energetic body. Reiki, a universal life force energy, is shared with each participant to help provide restoration, peace and well-being for the body, mind and spirit. A hypno-meditation and soothing head rub ends the event and guides you even deeper into a state of deep, dreamy relaxation. You will leave feeling lighter, clearer, joyful, restored, and enter back into the world ready to flow with your bliss!



Savannah : “Let Go & Let Grow” : Yoga with Marissa, September 15th-6:30pm-7:30pm

Please bring your mat and join them for “Let Go & Let Grow: a Yoga Experience’ taught by instructor Marissa, from AMPT, and hosted at STUMP: Savannah. This class is for everyone regardless of yoga experience. Expect a guided meditation, yoga asana guided movement, and to leave feeling lighter and refreshed! Please come a couple minutes early to choose a great spot to set your mat and spend some extra time with us before or after to pick out a new plant for your collection at home!



For the Love of Paws, September 15th-7:00pm

They are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to support the efforts that foster the betterment of pets’ lives in the greater Savannah area. Purchase tickets for this event above.




Blue Skies: Masquerade Edition, September 16th-8:00pm

It’s that time of the year again! The pandemic slowed them down but Blue Skies is back! The Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Tau Beta Sigma Chapter would like to cordially invite you to their 6th Annual Blue Skies Affair: “Masquerade Edition” on Friday, September 16, 2022. This year’s event will be held at Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum (460 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Savannah, GA 31401) at 8pm. This is a party with a purpose! Blue Skies raises funds to support community initiatives, local scholarships and much more. Join them for refreshments, heavy hors-d’oeuvres, and music. This is an event that you do not want to miss! Savannah Philharmonic Free Weekend Concerts in September

Savannah Philharmonic will perform several free outdoor Savannah concerts this Fall 2022. Some concerts will be in neighborhoods around Savannah as part of their Phil the Neighborhoods series.

Southbound Oktoberfest, September 17th-12:00pm-4:00pm

Join them on Saturday, September 17th for the kick off of Oktoberfest Savannah Style! There will be live music, games & lots of pints!



Wagfest, September 17th & September 18th-8:00am-4:00pm

WAGFEST, sponsored by Altamaha Canine Consulting, is a celebration of responsible dog owners and their pups! Savannah Kennel Club, along with over 5,000 other AKC affiliates across the country hold community events to help educate the public about the responsibilities of dog ownership and help owners enhance the relationships with their pets. WAGFEST is the region’s largest celebration of canine-human friendship! The two-day festival includes canine sports and activities, food, shopping, raffles, contests, and presentations by pet experts. WAGFEST 2022 will feature Dock Diving, Fast-Cat, Agility, Conformation, and MORE! The weekend kicks off with The Fast and The Furriest 5K-9 – one of Savannah’s pawsitively unique races! Bring your best friends and family – dogs and humans alike – for a weekend of fun!



Service Brewing Oktoberfest, September 17th-12:00pm-5:00pm

It is the official start of Oktoberfest! Kick it off with them on Saturday, September 17th from 12-5pm! They’ll have souvenir Oktoberfest mugs, great music, beer brats, pretzels, lebkuchen cookies, beer ice cream and more. Strangebird Food Truck will be grilling homemade beer brats cooked in their Oktoberfest Märzen Lager as well as serving delicious fresh baked pretzels with beer cheese. Enjoy traditional heart shaped Oktoberfest lebkuchen cookies from Kitchen Vixen and some boozy beer ice cream from Good Graham. Live music by Jared Hall and the Gumbo Ya Ya!


Autumn Teatime at Hewitt Oaks, September 17th-11:00am-1:30pm

Cougar Crossing Gentle Yoga Meets Sound Journey at Oatland Island, September 17th-9:00am

You won’t want to miss this unique new offering — @suefinkle_photography and @theflowoflight will host a Gentle Yoga and Sound Journey at Cougar Crossing! (yes, that means Olympia and Rainier will be there with you!!) A Sound Journey, or Sound Therapy, increases your vibrational⁠ frequency and deepens your yoga/meditation practice. During this⁠ experience, Sue and Chrissy will blend the complimentary healing⁠ aspects of a Sound Journey with a gentle yoga practice. While Sue⁠ leads you through a chakra meditation and gentle yoga class, Chrissy⁠ will play chakra crystal bowls and a variety of other instruments. This⁠ experience will leave you feeling deeply rested and renewed.⁠  Space is limited to 25 participants for this intimate experience.

Grand Opening Savannah Jazz History and Hall of Fame Exhibit, September 17th-6:00pm-8:30pm

Housed in the Savannah History Museum downtown, this exhibit will utilize a combination of artifacts, displays, and interactive media, to tell Savannah’s jazz history from its inception to today in five distinct areas: Savannah: Jazz Birthplace, West Broad Street, Tybee, The Modern Era and The Hall of Fame.

Clothing Swap at The Stables by Lite Foot Company, September 17th-11:00am-1:00pm

A Clothing Swap allows people to exchange their valued, but no longer used, clothing for clothing they will use. How it works- Bring 1-10 items to one of our drop off locations in the next couple weeks(see post). On September 17th from 11am-1pm come to The Stables and leave with a new wardrobe. Donate 7 items, leave with 7 items. How neat is that. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased when you drop of you gems. Andrew Low House Museum’s Community Day, September 18th-12:00pm-4:00pm

Andrew Low House Museum – Celebrating Community Day! September 18th 12:00-4:00 the Andrew Low House Museum will be hosting a Community Day open to the public FREE of charge. The day is designed to welcome and engage members of the local community. This will be a fun filled day for all ages with tours of the museum to experience history, architecture and art. Scavenger hunts, creative activities for everyone and tasty treats for all in their beautiful courtyard.


Les Dames d’Escoffier at Noble Fare, September 18th-6:00pm

A five course dinner prepared by Les Dames Savannah Chefs with wine pairings and hosted by Noble Fare. Plus prizes and wine giveaways, with proceeds going toward a scholarship for a female culinary arts student in this region. $175 per person.



Common Thread Guest Chef Series, September 19th
