Turn the Tide on the Trash by International Coastal Cleanup & Tybee Clean Beach, September 19th – 10:00am-1:00pm
Come join hundreds of thousands of ocean lovers around the globe at the Ocean Conservancy’s annual International Coastal Cleanup from 10AM-1PM at the Tybee Pier and Pavilion. Participants will sign in (between 10-11:30am) and borrow buckets & grabbers to clean the beach between 10 and noon, and afterwards visit information stations sponsored by local coastal conservation groups. Water refill stations and fruit refreshments available for all participants. This event is hosted by Fight Dirty Tybee and a great way to raise awareness of the plastic pollution and highlight alternatives.
