Sound Bath Healing with Jacilyn at Cosmic Corner, September 30th-6:00pm-7:00pm
Spend a blissful hour relaxing in their gallery as singing bowl master Jacilyn plays a magical meditation. Your sound bath experience will relax your body, align your chakras, calm your mind, and may even allow you to connect with your third eye. Some people experience messages of wisdom or astral travel during a session, others will experience a complete release of stress and tension–like a massage for the soul! Plant Riverside Oktoberfest, October 1st-October 31st-Events & Times Vary
“Plant Riverside looks forward to celebrating Oktoberfest at Plant Riverside District with a blend of old and new traditions,” said Richard C. Kessler, Chairman and CEO of The Kessler Collection. “We warmly invite local residents and guests to join us at Savannah’s Entertainment District for a festive outdoor Oktoberfest event.” On Saturdays from 1-4 p.m., the Pavilion Tent along the riverfront at Plant Riverside District will feature free live music as well as free keg bowling, bratwurst eating contests and stein holding competitions. Bob and the Polka Dots will perform traditional polka music at the Pavilion Tent from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, October 3; Saturday, October 9; and Sunday, October 31. In addition, the Pavilion Tent at Plant Riverside District will feature free live music on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7 to 10 p.m., showcasing the Eric Culberson Band, Lyn Avenue, Draucker, Nickel Bag of Funk and other talented local and regional artists. Bob Taylor will perform live at the Biergarten on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Sundays from 4 to 6 p.m. Throughout Oktoberfest, 14 exceptional restaurants at Plant Riverside District will offer a range of food and drink specials.
Poppell Farms opens for the 2021 Fall Season, Weekends Oct. 2-Oct. 31 2021
Opening October 2-31 for the Fall season! Daytime fun: Explore a 10-acre maze, wagon rides and a Pumpkin Patch! Stay after dark on Friday and Saturday nights to explore the maze with a flashlight (it’s NOT haunted). Beginning October 8, after dark brave the Haunted Trail through the woods! Areas of the farm are lit for visitors to enjoy some activities after dark.
New Realm Brewing hosts Oktoberfest, October 2nd
Märzens, Dunkels, and Pilsners, oh mein! It’s that time of year again, so get your lederhosen and steins ready for New Realm’s Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, October 2nd. This event is FREE to the public- no tickets required! (You must be 21+ to enjoy a craft beer, however.) Here’s some of the fun you can expect at this year’s Oktoberfest! Yoga Jam Series by New Yoga Now: A Somatic Healing Journey, October 3rd-1:00pm-2:30pm
Join Betsy Powers and Kaitlyn Johnston for a healing journey through movement and sound. NYN’s beloved Betsy Powers, E-RYT and Somatic Therapist, will be your movement guide. Kaitlyn Johnston’s Tibetan Singing Bowl sound bath is a guided meditation for deep relaxation and emotional processing in a group setting. Everything is vibration – the sounds you hear, words you speak, and emotions you feel. Some vibrations lift our spirits, while others ground and move us deeply.
Miner Family Wine Dinner at Perry Lane, October 4th-6:00pm
Join Perry Lane for a wine dinner with Miner Family Wines accompanied by a 4-course meal pairing created by our expert culinary team. The evening will begin at 6pm with bubbles, then you will be escorted into our private dining space where you will sit down to dinner at 6:30pm. A member of Miner along with our in-house sommelier will guide you through the evening, discussing wines and the process of making them. Tickets are $200 and can be purchased here as well as a menu.
