Thanksgiving is definitely the Super Bowl of family dinners, but due to the CDC’s recommendations for scaled-down celebrations this year, things are going to look a bit different. Most people will avoid large gatherings and unnecessary travel and that means those who are used to going to their parent’s or in-law’s for the big feast will be left to prepare it on their own. Southern Graces at Hewitt Oaks is offering an easy way to enjoy a fantastic turkey dinner.  Leave the shopping, cooking and cleaning to them. All you need to do is order your Southern Graces Thanksgiving Meal and pick up on November 25th at Hewitt Oaks. The entire meal feeds 6-8 people for the unbeatable price of $169. Included in your meal: 16 lb. herb roasted turkey (turkey will be pre-sliced for optimal reheating), riesling gravy, roasted apple & cornbread dressing, cranberry citrus relish, whipped potatoes, sorghum roasted carrots, candied bacon Brussels sprouts, sautéed green beans, house-made yeast rolls, 8 inch whipped pumpkin cheesecake and turkey cupcakes. Thrive Catering is offering a delicious, prepared menu to make everything easy peasy for you! They are offering all menu items in various sizes for your convenience. To order visit their website online ordering form and go to the Thrive-Thru curbside. All orders must be placed by November 20th at 3pm. Curbside pickup will be on November 24th and 25th between 12pm and 3pm.

J Thomas Catering is offering to take care of dinner on Thanksgiving. The dinner includes roasted turkey breast, cornbread dressing, ham, whipped potatoes, green beans and yeast rolls which feeds from 6-8 people for $100 plus tax. Chef Darin’s Kitchen Table is offering a Thanksgiving class on November 26th at 11:00am. Join them to prepare and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner without all the cleanup and prep. Less work than entertaining at home, more fun than joining crowds at a restaurant or hotel and you’ll be able to add to your own holiday recipe lineup. Waldorf salad with cranberry horseradish cream dressing, fresh cranberry relish, citrus & herb sheet pan turkey, sourdough, sausage and fennel dressing, gratin of potatoes with gruyere and crème fraiche, maple glazed parsnips, sweet potato & buttermilk pie with pecans. The Desoto wants to do the cooking…you just set the table. Purchase per person for as many as 12 people. The Greentruck Pub is offering a keep on truckin’ pre-holiday menu with whole pecan pies, comforting casseroles and snacks. Plus a holiday sangria with pomegranate and citrus from their very own trees. A few of the two quart casseroles they are offering are Aunt Susan’s squash casserole, sweet potato soufflé with candied pecans, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing with brown butter and much more. Joe’s at the Jepsen is offering Thanksgiving for two. The menu includes turkey breast, stuffing with apples, Craisins and celery, fresh cranberry sauce with mandarin oranges and gravy for $35.70. There is an option for additional side dishes at an extra cost. Cotton and Rye is offering a Thanksgiving a pop up menu filled with sides, breads and pies. If you need something to make your turkey shine then pick up a tray of mac n’ cheese, spinach & kale gratin, chicken & cornbread dressing and more. Just need some pies? Troy Mediterranean Cuisine has you covered. Pastry Chef Alex is making her homemade pumpkin and apple pies for Thanksgiving. They are offering them as special order to take home. The retail counter will also be packed with crackers, bread, pie and more to fuel the festivities.
