Few foods conjure more memories of childhood and summer than ice cream. The two seem to go hand-in-hand. Since this weekend marks the beginning of summer fun, don’t let COVID make you miss out on a great family memory. Here are a few places around Savannah with standards in place to grab a cone. Some spots on this list include curbside pickup, online ordering, and even delivery straight to your front door.
Have you heard? Curbside service is available for the Broughton Street location from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. every day. Place your order ahead of time by selecting “the store” online at leopoldstogo.com or by calling 912-234-4442. Inside ordering is available but not indoor seating. Also, you may order ahead and have some ice cream sent straight to your door. This month’s special is Lavender Cherry Blossom.
Both locations are open for ice cream while social distancing. Visit for a double scoop but don’t forget the peanut brittle on special this month for $5.95 or purchase a pound of pralines and get a 1/2 lb. free. Could come in handy for those backyard bbq’s.
Need your frozen yogurt fix…you’re in luck cause Lovin’ Spoons is open. Hmmm, do I want cookie dough bites or cheesecake bites. You shouldn’t be making any bigger decisions that that on Memorial Day weekend.
If you find yourself at Tybee Beach this weekend, don’t forget a quick stop at The Sugar Shack for a nice, cold treat
If you can’t wait another minute for Gelato, then you are in luck. Stop by the Bowerbird coffee shop within The Emporium for a taste of perfection.
